well i like your south pole question. i live in an area where we have get phone call quality.... but no 3 or 4g at all. like i am stationed in yuma az . and i like the phone. i cant pick up 3g for like 50 or 60 miles west in California and like 200 mile west closer to Tucson or Phoenix. so why would sprint try to sell me a phone at the local stores that support the 3/4g networks if i dont have either one and charge me $10? i am going to use the same amount of data either way, with or with out a high end network. i am just going to be siting there a little longer.
